Georgia may reduce validity of coronavirus PCR tests

Georgia is expected to reduce the validity period of the coronavirus PCR tests, which earlier was 72 hours, Report informs with reference to the Georgian Government.
Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, said that a new reality has emerged in the world due to the Omicron strain.
“Some countries have reduced the PCR test validity to 48 hours,” he said.
