Boko Haram attack in Niger, casualties reported

In a shootout with Boko Haram terrorists in Niger, four soldiers were killed, while three others were wounded, Report informs, citing Anadolu.
The militants attacked a checkpoint in the Diffa region in the country's south-east, using heavy weapons.
Boko Haram has been operating in Nigeria since the early 2000s. Since 2009, more than 20,000 people have become victims of the terrorist organization.
Since 2015, it has been attacking neighboring Cameroon, Chad, and Niger.
In the area of Lake Chad, at least two thousand people were killed by terrorists.
