Azerbaijan sees slight growth in non-life insurance market

In January-February of 2024, Azerbaijan collected 138.97 million manats (about $81.74 million) in non-life insurance premiums, marking a slight increase from the same period last year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
During the reporting period, payments for non-life insurance types rose by 12.9%, to 36.808 million manats ($21.651 million).
Thus, 26.5 manats ($15.59) in every 100 manats ($58.82) collected in the non-life insurance market within 2 months were paid back to customers. This figure stood at 23.5 manats ($13.82) a year ago.
