Azerbaijan PM meets Russian health minister

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov has met with Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko to discuss cooperation in healthcare and medical education, Report informs, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.

The meeting highlighted the significance of the latest graduation ceremony at the Baku branch of the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.

The branch, which plays an important role in training highly qualified medical professionals, was described as a successful example of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia.

The sides also discussed the current state and future prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation in healthcare, medical education, and medical science.

Azerbaijani Health Minister Teymur Musayev, Rector of the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University Pyotr Glybochko, and Rector of the university's Baku branch Aziz Aliyev also attended the meeting.
