Diana Ryan: TikTok live streams gaining popularity in Azerbaijan, worldwide

In Azerbaijan, as elsewhere in the world, more and more people are using live streams on TikTok, creating unique opportunities for creativity and genuine communication, according to Diana Ryan, the platform's Director of Public Policy and Government Relations for Eastern Europe.

Speaking at a side event titled "Digital Platforms and Information Security: Current Challenges and Key Solutions" during the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, Ryan said that more than 1 billion people use TikTok worldwide every day.

She also noted that in the first quarter of this year, TikTok specialists removed more than 600,000 videos from the platform in Azerbaijan's content segment.

"We are pleased with our cooperation with Azerbaijan's relevant authorities and will continue working together," Ryan said.
