Azerbaijan's manufacturing output rises 2.7% in January-July

Azerbaijan's manufacturing industry produced goods and provided industrial services worth 12.94 billion manats in January-July 2026, according to the State Statistical Committee, cited by Report.

The figure represents a 2.7% increase compared with the same period last year.

The largest increases in manufacturing were recorded in the production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, up 88.4%; pharmaceutical products, up 53.9%; textiles, up 35.9%; tobacco products, up 18.4%; paper and cardboard, up 12.5%; food products, up 9.6%; metallurgy, up 9.5%; installation and repair of machinery and equipment, up 8.5%; leather goods and footwear, up 8.3%; electrical equipment, up 7.6%; and construction materials, up 7.3%.

Overall, the value of industrial production in Azerbaijan increased by 0.3% year-on-year to 38.9 billion manats during the first seven months of the year.

Oil and gas industry production decreased by 0.4% to 26.2 billion manats, while non-oil and gas industry production increased by 4.4% to 12.7 billion manats.
