Samui, Koh Phangan, and Tao have officially opened to vaccinated foreigners and citizens of Thailand, becoming the second province of the kingdom that started receiving travelers without quarantine.
Report informs, citing TASS, that, according to the list published by Thailand's Tourism Department, the requirements for arrival to the Surat Thani resorts are partly similar to those applied in Phuket from July 1.
The main difference from the "Phuket scheme" with direct flights is the transit, which must be carried out at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport for further departure to Samui, from where travelers can already head to the islands of Phangan and Tao.
