Turkish, Iraqi FMs discuss energy, trade and security cooperation

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a meeting with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein in Ankara, Report informs.
Fidan shared the information in a post on X.
He said the meeting focused on multilateral cooperation in energy, trade, transport and security, as well as the implementation of joint projects.
Fidan said Türkiye and Iraq are continuing to implement projects that will contribute to the welfare and security of their peoples.
The sides also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.
"We do not see the stability and security of brotherly Iraq as separate from our own stability and security. We will continue to further develop our relations based on mutual trust in all areas," Fidan said.
