Houthis say they attacked Saudi oil tanker with ballistic missiles

Yemen"s Ansar Allah movement, also known as the Houthis, has attacked the Saudi oil tanker NCC Ghazal with ballistic missiles, Report informs.

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree shared the information on his Telegram channel.

"The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation, during which the Saudi oil tanker NCC Ghazal was attacked with several ballistic missiles for violating the maritime navigation ban and ignoring warnings," he wrote.

According to the Houthi representative, the missile fire forced the vessel to change course.

Saree also stressed that the Houthis would continue their maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia based on the principle of "blockade in response to blockade and full escalation in response to full escalation."
