Turkish army launches anti-terror raid against PKK

The Turkish Armed Forces are conducting an anti-terror operation to destroy the targets of PKK terrorists in the Gara region of northern Iraq.
Report informs, citing the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, that operation Pence Kartal-2 began on February 10.
It has been determined that terrorists have created new shelters in northern Iraq. PKK terrorists threaten the security of Turkish civilians in the north of Iraq. The purpose of the operation is to prevent their threats.
