US sees record 3.5% GDP decline

US GDP fell by a record 3.5 percent last year, while the US economy grew 4.1 percent on an annualized basis in the last quarter of 2020, according to the Department of Commerce, Report informs, referring to TASS.
The department published preliminary data for this period at the end of January.
Then the fall in GDP in 2020 was also estimated at 3.5 percent, which was the worst indicator since the Second World War.
