Pashinyan holds meeting on implementation of TRIPP project

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting to discuss issues related to the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project.

According to Report, citing the Armenian government's press service, the meeting reviewed the legal and contractual package for TRIPP Development Company (TDC), as well as upcoming tasks.

"In particular, the legal and contractual package of TRIPP Development Company and upcoming tasks were reviewed, and work on the draft company charter and shareholders' agreement was presented," the statement said.

A day earlier, Armenia's Constitutional Court ruled that the framework agreement on strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States on the TRIPP project did not contradict the Armenian Constitution.

Following the Constitutional Court's positive decision, the agreement will be submitted to parliament for ratification.

Armenia and the United States signed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation under the TRIPP project in Armenia on June 4.

In August 2025, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and US and Azerbaijani Presidents Donald Trump and Ilham Aliyev signed a declaration stating that Yerevan would work with Washington and third parties to establish a framework for the TRIPP project.

The project envisages the construction of road, railway, oil and gas infrastructure. TRIPP will connect mainland Azerbaijan with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic through a 42-kilometer route across Armenian territory and onward to Türkiye.
