Pentagon: US troops withdrawn from Syria will not stay in Iraq

Esper said on Tuesday that Washington aimed to bring US troops withdrawing from Syria back to the United States, Report informs citing the RIA Novosti.
"The aim isn't to stay in Iraq interminably. The aim is to pull our soldiers out and eventually get them back home," US defence chief Mark Esper said in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
He noted that he would discuss this issue with the Iraqi Minister of Defense tomorrow.
