Iran rules out IAEA inspectors' access to sites damaged by strikes

Iran does not plan to allow IAEA inspectors into its facilities damaged by US and Israeli military strikes, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said, emphasizing that there is no established regulation or procedure for conducting such inspections, Report informs via Iranian media.

Commenting on the situation in the Middle East, Esmaeil Baghaei stated that the US commitments in this context are clear, and any pretext for Israel to continue military action in Lebanon is unacceptable.

He stated that Washington should prevent an escalation of military clashes and ensure the ceasefire is observed on all fronts.

Responding to US statements regarding the use of unfrozen Iranian assets, Baghaei emphasized that Tehran will use them solely in accordance with its national interests.

"We find it interesting that the goal of the war, which was claimed to be the destruction of Iranian civilization and the collapse of Iran, has now, according to their logic, been transformed into the enrichment of American farmers. Regarding our assets, we will make decisions that are in the interests of the country," he stated.

Baghaei also added that the Iranian Ministry of Agriculture is purchasing goods based on the country's current needs and is not subject to any restrictions in this regard. He recalled that representatives of the government's economic bloc had previously provided clarifications on the use of previously frozen assets.
