Death toll in Florida building collapse reaches 79

The death toll in the collapse of a Miami-area condo building rose to 79, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.
The mayor called it “heartbreaking” as recovery workers toiled for a 16th day to find victims in the rubble. The fate of another 61 people remains unknown.
On June 24, the 12-story residential complex Champlain Towers South built in 1981 collapsed in Surfside, part of the Miami metropolitan area. About half of the 130 apartments located in the building were destroyed.
