Reason for non-resumption of public transport on weekends announced

The issue of public transport on weekends is not currently being discussed, said Shahmar Movsumov, Assistant to the President - Head of the Department of Economic Issues and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The department head said that the number of vaccinated people in the country is not enough yet.

"On Saturdays and Sundays, the morbidity decreases due to the failure of public transport. Even then, we can control the speed of disease," he said.
