Deputy PM: Russia imposes ban on diesel exports

Russia has imposed a ban on diesel fuel exports in order to increase supplies to the domestic market, Report informs, citing Russian media.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced this during President Vladimir Putin's meeting with government members.

"A ban on diesel fuel exports was introduced today, and this will make it possible to increase supplies to the domestic market," the deputy prime minister said.

According to Novak, the decision will help provide additional diesel fuel volumes for domestic consumption and stabilize the situation on the Russian market.
