ING: CBA will keep reducing discount rate in 2024-2025

The ING Group of the Netherlands believes that the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will keep reducing the discount in 2024-2025, Report informs.
According to the information, the Central Bank will reduce the discount rate to 7% in 2024.
"The discount rate in Azerbaijan will be reduced to 6.75% in the first quarter of 2025, and to 6% by the end of the year," ING Group believes.
According to the information, the new forecast announced for this year and next year is 0.5 percentage points less than the forecast announced on February 22.
