Cash flow in Azerbaijan up by 30% in Q3

In the third quarter of this year, the cash flow in Azerbaijan amounted to 36.9 billion manats ($21.7 billion), which is 30.3% more than in the same period last year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
As in the third quarter of 2022, the sectors of economic activity with the highest share in total payment receipts are public administration and defense (30.6%), construction (14.9%), and wholesale and retail trade (13.6%) in the same period of 2023.
The spheres of economic activity that contributed the most to the increase in income in the last 1 year were public administration and defense (+2.4 billion manats) and construction (+2 billion manats).
