CBA: Azerbaijan doesn’t expect sharp fluctuations in US-dollar rate to the year end

Baku. 26 September. REPORT.AZ/ Sharp fluctuations of US-dollar is not expected until the end of the year.
Report informs, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Elman Rustamov said.
E. Rustamov noted that this year, manat has depreciated by only 5%. At the same time, he stressed that no country in the world has a stable exchange rate regime. He added that Central Bank currently makes efforts to ensure stability of manat, which is influenced by external factors.
CBA governor said that a stable manat helps to improve the business environment and reduce the cost of investment deposits.
