Transit oil transportation via BTC slides over 13%

Azerbaijan transported 11,903,800 tons of oil via the main pipelines in January-April 2021, down 7.2 percent from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Statistics Committee.
Some 76.1 percent of transportation operations were carried out via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline. The pipeline transported 9,062,000 tons of oil, down 11.9 percent from the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the volume of transit oil via BTC amounted to 1,289,100 tons (a 13.3 percent increase over the same period in 2020).
