Car import to Azerbaijan nearly doubles

In January-October 2019 Azerbaijan imported 35,457 cars, up 83.4% or 16,121 cars from the previous year, Report informs citing the State Customs Committee (SCC).

According to the SCC, the number of cars with a seating capacity of 10 and more seats rose 2.5-fold or 262 units to 441, passenger cars intended for passenger transportation and other motor vehicles – by 84.1% or 14,589 units to 31,934, vehicles for cargo transportation grew by 70.4% or 1,212 units to 2,934, and special purpose vehicles – by 64.4% or 58 units to 148.
