Azerbaijan's aluminum exports rise 40% in first half of 2026

Azerbaijan exported 40,435.29 tons of aluminum and aluminum products worth $141.517 million in January-June 2026, Report informs, citing statistics from the State Customs Committee.

Compared with the same period of 2025, the value of exports increased by $40.53 million, or 40%, while the volume rose by 5,210.45 tons, or 14.7%.

During the reporting period, aluminum and aluminum products accounted for 2.5% of exports in the non-oil sector and 0.8% of the country's total exports.

In the first six months of the year, Azerbaijan carried out foreign trade operations worth $24.661 billion, up 1.1% year-on-year.

Exports accounted for $16.32 billion of foreign trade turnover, while imports stood at $8.341 billion. Over the past year, exports increased by 26.7%, while imports decreased by 27.6%.
