Azerbaijan to apply European standards in telecommunications sector

The Azerbaijan Standardization Institute (AZSTAND) of Azerbaijan and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) signed a cooperation agreement Report informs.

According to the agreement, AZSTAND acquired the right to distribute official publications of ETSl. The implementation of these standards will contribute to the formation of requirements for advanced technologies in the field of information and communication, including mobile communication, mobile radio and smart card systems.
