Azerbaijan reduces tea import and export

In January-November 2023, Azerbaijan imported 12,477 tons of tea (-678 tons or 5.1%) worth $64,771,000 (-$4,031,000 or 6.2%), Report informs, referring to the State Customs Committee.
During 11 months, the cost of importing tea was 0.4% of the total import costs of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 649,000 tons of tea, the export value of this amount of tea was $5,906,000. Compared to 1 year ago, these are 1,070 tons (62.2%) less in terms of volume, and $5,070,000 (46.2%) less in terms of value.
In January-November, tea export income made up 0.02% of the total export income of Azerbaijan.
