Azerbaijan, Qatar discuss mutual investment and new projects

Azerbaijan and Qatar have discussed promoting mutual investment, implementing new projects and strengthening partnerships between their private sectors.

According to Report, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote about the discussions on X.

Jabbarov said he had met with Qatari Finance Minister Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari on the sidelines of the 11th Annual Meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Doha.

He noted that the special role and political will of the leaders of the two countries were important in developing Azerbaijan-Qatar relations based on friendship and mutual trust.

Jabbarov said this solid foundation created broad opportunities for further expanding economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

He added that the sides had also exchanged views on opportunities to deepen cooperation in the financial and investment sectors.
