Azerbaijan's agrarian sector grows by 2%

In January 2021, Azerbaijan produced agricultural products for AZN 341.9 million ($201.2 million).

Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani State Statistical Committee, that this figure is 2.3 percent more than in the same period last year.

Over the past year, the cost of plants and plant-based goods produced in the country increased by 6.8 percent, up to AZN 16.4 million ($9.6 million). The monetary value of livestock products went up by 2.1 percent to AZN 325.5 million ($191.5 million).
