Azerbaijan to issue sickness certificate in electronic form from 2023

The sickness certificate will be issued in an electronic from from 2023, Kanan Akparov, director of the DOST Digital Innovation Center under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, said, Report informs.
He said that work is being done with the Ministry of Health regarding the issue: "There will also be corresponding changes to the legislation. After the electronification of the system, the paper documents that the employees will receive due to any illness or pregnancy will be redirected from the electronic platform."
