Two oil tankers explode after hitting mines in Strait of Hormuz

Two oil tankers attempted to pass through a mined route in the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in explosions and fires, according to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Report informs.
"An hour ago, two oil tankers, forced by US deception to pass through a mined route in the southern Strait of Hormuz, exploded and caught fire," the IRGC said in a statement.
The IRGC Navy emphasized that due to the extreme danger caused by US actions, the Strait of Hormuz remains closed to passage.
The Corps added that in recent hours, four ships attempted to cross the strait with US military support: "As a result of operations involving missiles and drones, all four vessels were stopped."
