A group of international travelers representing the globally recognized Most Traveled People (MTP) club has visited the ancient Albanian monastery of Ganjasar in Azerbaijan's Karabakh.
According to a Report correspondent in Karabakh, during the visit to the monastery, the travelers were briefed on the monument's history, unlawful alterations to its architecture during the occupation period, and related legal matters.
The guests were also able to explore the historical and architectural characteristics of the ancient Albanian monastery and tour the complex grounds.
Today marks the second day of the international delegation's visit to Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, led by MTP founder Charles Veley. The delegation comprises approximately 40 individuals from 13 countries, including the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
This represents the 17th group expedition by prominent international travel clubs to Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur between 2021 and 2026. These visits provide foreign travelers with the opportunity to observe firsthand the extensive construction and restoration efforts underway in Azerbaijan's liberated territories.
