Scores of terrorists neutralized in Operation Winter Eagle, says Akar

Scores of terrorists have been neutralized in Operation Winter Eagle, Turkey's National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar has said, as quoted by Report.

"We are closely monitoring the situation," the minister said.

He said they expect the intelligence channels and other sources to provide information on the results of the operation 'in the coming hours and days.'

Akar stressed that the fight against terrorism continues successfully.

The minister voiced determination to save the nation from the scourge of terrorism that had threatened Turkey for decades.
