A magnitude 5.7 earthquake was recorded off the coast of Indonesia's Java Island in the Indian Ocean.
According to Report, citing the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, the epicenter was located 232 km northeast of the city of Rangkasbitung, which has a population of more than 125,000. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage, and no tsunami warning was issued.
