Russia's COVID death toll nears 80,000

Russia has reported 14,861 new COVID-19 cases over the past day, Report informs, citing Russian media.
Overall, the country has seen 4,057,698 coronavirus cases since the pandemic onset.
In the past 24 hours, Russian hospitals discharged 18,765 COVID-19 patients after their full recovery. A total of 3,577,907 Russians have coped with the disease during the epidemic.
Meanwhile, 502 people have succumbed to the pathogen in one day, taking the country's overall COVID-19 death toll to 79,696.
