Off-budget revenues of the Seaside Boulevard Administration are projected to nearly triple by the end of 2026 compared with 2023. At the same time, the increase in revenues and changes in the operation of the national park do not imply its commercialization, Chairman of the Board of the Seaside Boulevard Administration Khanlar Aghalarov said in an interview with Report news agency and ARB TV.
"The trends observed, the dynamics of changes and the prospects for further operations are reflected in the decree on improving the activities of the Seaside Boulevard Administration, signed by President Ilham Aliyev several days ago. The decree addresses issues related to improving the Administration's operational efficiency, enabling more flexible management, strengthening financial discipline and ensuring more rational use of the national park's resources. Under the decree, Seaside Boulevard CJSC will continue operating as the legal successor to the Seaside Boulevard Administration," Aghalarov said.
He stressed that neither these indicators, nor the amount of expenditure on maintaining the park, nor changes in the organization of services imply the commercialization of the national park's resources, services or assets.
"According to the charter of the Administration, its main task is to ensure the maintenance, management, protection and further development of the national park. The main objective is to use all these resources for their intended purpose, create as much public value as possible for the residents of our city, and improve management in this area," Aghalarov noted.
