The statement underlined the need for all vessels to obtain prior permission from the IRGC Navy for transiting the waterway, cautioning that failure to comply with these regulations could seriously jeopardize the safety and security of maritime traffic in the area.
The headquarters also warned that any attempt by military vessels to interfere with the management of the Strait of Hormuz or disrupt shipping there would be met with a firm and decisive response from the Iranian Armed Forces.
