"Russian journalist Vladimir Pozner did not violate Georgia's law on the occupied territories," Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said at a government meeting.
According to him, the journalist and his entourage entered Georgia in full compliance with the rules: "Vladimir Pozner is also a US citizen and often visits Georgia. Yesterday's visit was his next."
The PM called the violation of the quarantine regime by Pozner and his guests unacceptable and noted that the relevant agencies reacted immediately and fined the journalist.
