Iran has expanded the geographical scope of its attacks on commercial vessels beyond the Strait of Hormuz to the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.
According to Report, citing the Financial Times, the Acers tanker was attacked near Qatar, while the supertanker Gem No. 2 came under attack off the coast of the United Arab Emirates.
However, it is important to note that Iran's responsibility for each incident has not yet been independently confirmed. The Financial Times links the expansion of the geographical scope of the attacks to Tehran"s actions, but investigations into individual incidents are ongoing.
