Sudan truce proposed to be extended during Eid al-Fitr

The Rapid Response Force of Sudan proposes to extend the humanitarian truce during the celebration of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan and begins on April 21, Report informs via TASS.
On Wednesday, the Rapid Response Force announced a ceasefire, which, like in the past two days, was supposed to come into force at 18:00. A few minutes before the announcement of the time, the army of Sudan also gave consent to the ceasefire.
However, Arab TV channels said in live reports that explosions were heard in Khartoum after 18:00. Several military helicopters were also over the Sudanese capital. Clashes continued on Thursday in and around Khartoum.
