Simonyan replaces Grigoryan as Armenia's Security Council Secretary

Armen Grigoryan has been dismissed as Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia.
According to Report, citing Armenian media, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the decision.
Alen Simonyan, who previously served as Speaker of Armenia's parliament, has replaced him as Secretary of the Security Council.
"I have decided to change the Secretary of the Security Council. I am grateful to Armen Grigoryan for the work he has done over the past eight years," Pashinyan said at a government meeting on Thursday.
Pashinyan did not provide a reason for the decision or say whether Grigoryan would take up another position.
