Temperatures in Azerbaijan to reach 36 C on August 14

Mostly rainless weather is expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on August 14, Report informs, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service.

The northeast wind will be replaced by a moderate northwest wind in the evening.

The air temperature will be 23-26 C at night and 31-36 C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be 758 mmHg. Relative humidity will be 70-75% at night and 45-50% during the day.

Intermittent rain is expected in some districts of Azerbaijan. Short-term showers may become intense in some places, with lightning and hail also possible. Precipitation may intensify slightly mainly in mountainous and foothill areas.

Occasional fog is expected in some mountainous areas at night and in the morning. The east wind will occasionally strengthen in some places.

The air temperature will be 22-26 C at night and 32-36 C during the day, while in the mountains it will be 13-18 C at night and 20-25 C during the day.
