Singapore to airdrop humanitarian aid for Gaza residents

The Republic of Singapore Air Force will airdrop humanitarian aid to residents of the Gaza Strip on March 16-17, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Report informs via TASS that the cargo will be transferred through the Jordanian air corridor.
The drop will be carried out by a Singapore C-130 military transport aircraft with the support of the Jordanian Armed Forces. The Republic's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, accompanied by several senior officials, will visit Jordan from March 16 to 17 to support the operation.
In turn, Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong sent a letter to King Abdullah II of Jordan, expressing gratitude for the assistance provided in the delivery of humanitarian cargo.
