Projectile said shot down over Red Sea after alert in Israel's Eilat

Following a drone infiltration alert in Eilat, southern Israel, reports in Hebrew media indicate that a projectile, possibly launched from Yemen, was intercepted over the Red Sea before it reached the resort city, Report informs via the Times of Israel.

Residents of the city, which has swelled with Israelis displaced by the Hamas assault on southern Israel and Hezbollah attacks on the north, report hearing explosions.
