Chichekli HPP generates over 70 million kWh of electricity since commissioning

The Chichekli Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP), located in the Ashagi Zurnabad settlement of the Goygol district, generated 70.4 million kWh of electricity from the time it was commissioned through July this year.
According to the Ministry of Energy, cited by Report, the HPP plays an important role in increasing renewable energy generation, making efficient use of local water resources, and strengthening energy security.
The Chichekli HPP was commissioned on August 19, 2017, following reconstruction. The plant has an installed capacity of 3 MW.
