Azerbaijan and Türkiye taekwondo teams hold joint camp in Ankara

The national taekwondo teams of Azerbaijan and Türkiye are holding a joint training camp in Ankara as part of preparations for the Summer Youth Olympic Games, according to the Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation, Report informs.

Azerbaijani athletes Zahra Isayeva (44 kg) and Adil Aliyev (73 kg) are continuing their preparations for Dakar 2026 by training alongside Türkiye's Olympic team under the guidance of national team coach Elnur Amanov.

During the joint training session, Bahri Tanrikulu, president of the Turkish Taekwondo Federation, visited the practice and wished success to the coaches and athletes of both countries.

The federations also exchanged commemorative gifts during the meeting.

The joint training sessions will continue until August 26.
