The United States is no longer a neutral mediator in the Russia-Ukraine war, French President Emmanuel Macron said during a press conference following the 36th Franco-Italian Summit in Antibes.
According to Report, Macron said Washington has for the first time endorsed a document that explicitly supports Ukraine's territorial integrity, military assistance to Kyiv, energy support, and sanctions against Russia.
Macron was referring to the recent joint statement by the leaders of the G7. In the document, the Group of Seven countries, including the United States, reaffirmed their support for these principles.
