Official Bishkek and Dushanbe have completed the withdrawal of military units from the border area, Report informs, citing TASS.
"The parties completed the withdrawal of additional military forces and equipment from the state boundary," the Border Guard Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan said on Monday.
According to the Border Service, a joint commission consisting of representatives of the two countries' Defense Ministries continues its work. Currently, the situation is stable on the border and in the surrounding areas; no clashes or shootings were reported last night.
