India: Truck kills at least 15 people, several injured

In India, a truck hit 20 time-workers who went to the city in search of profit and spent the night on the side of the road, Report informs, citing NDTV.

The incident took place in the western state of Gujarat, about 60 kilometers from the city of Surat.

The truck crushed the workers in the dark. As a result, 12 people died at the scene, and eight others were seriously wounded. The injured were hospitalized. Three of them died at the hospital, and several others are in critical condition.

Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation into the incident.
