Baku. 12 November. REPORT.AZ / About 50 law enforcement officers in the vicinity of the South-Eastern city of Farah were killed during heavy shootings with the Taliban, Report informs citing Reuters.
Moreover, about 25 security forces were killed in the central province of Ghazni during the shootings with Taliban.
Clashes in the vicinity of Farah city occurred at the military checkpoint, the fighting lasted several hours.
Talibs attacked local militias from the predominantly Khazar community, which is associated with the confrontation between the Pashtuns and the Khazars.
According to local authorities, around 500 security forces are killed every month in Afghanistan, and the number of wounded reaches several hundreds.
