Azerbaijan announces rules for using secret audio and visual information

Azerbaijan has announced the rules for using secret audio and visual information, Report informs.

According to the new draft law "On Media", the use or distribution of personal audio and video recordings, photographs is allowed if:

1. the person, on whom the secret audio or video recording or photo was taken, has written consent to the use or dissemination of these materials, as well as, necessary measures have been taken to protect the rights and freedoms of another person (persons) established by the Constitution of Azerbaijan;

2. it is demonstrated according to a court decision.

The use and dissemination of secret audio-video recordings, video, and photographs in violation of the requirements of Article 21.1 of this Law is prohibited.
