In accordance with the seventh clause of the November statement by the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia, the refugees must return to the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh and adjacent areas under the control of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a weekly briefing, the Russian bureau of Report informs.
She noted that there is an intensive process of the return of Armenians, who had previously left their homes in connection with the last year's events.
"We proceed from the assumption that this clause of the trilateral statement applies to everyone who had to leave their previous places of residence," said Maria Zakharova.
